PALATELLA, BLANCO ELECTED TO BOE, BUDGET QUESTION WINNING BY SIXTEEN VOTES.
Incumbent Frato is toppled as budget question leads by just sixteen votes.
NORTH ARLINGTON - Incumbent Karen Palatella easily secured a third term while challenger Anthony Blanco defeated incumbent Fred Frato and challenger Deborah Wertalik for the second seat seat. Palatella led all candidates with 541 votes while Blanco finished second with 519. Wertalik finished a distant third with 293 and Frato finished fourth with 243.
The school budget was winning by just sixteen votes with the absentee ballots yet to be counted.

we find the race for seats on the North Arlington Board of Education
a big yawn.
Candidates
promise to keep taxes in check only to blindly follow the lead of
school bureaucrats obsessed with doling out raises and promotions while
test scores remain mediocre at best.
Last
year we had two new faces that are trying hard with little support.

the addition of another new face will create a mix that get
