Trivia Quiz:
Who can name the police officer escorting then Senator John F Kennedy on a campaign stop to Jersey City in the Fall of 1960?

To Kennedy's right is former New Jersey Governor Robert Meyner as well as former Hudson County Supervisor Jackie Deegan, and former Congressman Dominick Daniels (D-14). To the right of Kennedy behind the police officer is former Congressman Cornelius Gallagher of Bayonne of the old 15th congressional district.
Gallagher was seriously considered to be Lyndon Johnson's running-mate in 1964. Johnson ultimately chose Senator Hubert Humphrey (D-Minnesota). The Democratic Convention that year was held in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Dem fundraiser an overwhelming success!
